Fast Design is a Danish company that sells cheeky Italian furniture and we took the chance and take a closer look at their Forest series at the furniture fair. Forest is a series of outdoor furniture where you break down the boundary between art and design, but for the sake of sacrificing quality and convenience. Since it is made of aluminum, it will be durable and easy to handle.
The series consists of a armstol, a lounge chair without armrests and a dinner table in a variety of designs. Chief ideologist behind Forest named Robby and Francesca Cantarutti and they have really succeeded in creating artistic and aesthetic furniture.
The chair, for example, for almost reminiscent of an eerie fairytale forest with its hollow design, and it's no coincidence that the series is called just Forest.
Nominations for "Office Product Design Award" indicates that it will adorn many office environments as well as it fits on a summery patio.

At Furniture Fair, there were also several interesting student projects to behold. Some Norwegian students from the National Academy of Bergen exhibited their works and one of them was Ingunn Eikeland.
Eikeland has designed a delicious coffee table which has been named Pytt and those who had the privilege to check out this table was found that there is a an original product of this Norwegian lady has produced. The table consists of a rounded fibreboard where Deception is a motif which visualizes the pattern of a pool of water hit by a raindrop ( "Pytt" therefore means "puddle" in Swedish).
The polished table top stand steadily on a pair of steel legs and forming an emotional beautiful drive. Young Norwegian design shows certainly up your feet!

Finally it's spring! The lovely Swedish summer is also coming and therefore it may be worthwhile to brush up on the balcony or patio with a couple of new furniture. We thought, therefore, look at some of the Nordic companies with summer furniture specialty. Scanian Harborough is one of Scandinavia's largest manufacturer of garden furniture and has some interesting creations, including furniture Miami group that is made of Teakwood. Just teak is an ideal material for furniture to be outdoors, because the wood is saturated to its own oil when it reaches a great age. This process implies that sustainability is increasing sharply and the furniture can be left outdoors for a long time but that the material will be particularly affected.

The Norwegian furniture company Nora launching a new dinner table at this year's Stockholm Furniture Fair. Table, which is designed av Øystein Austad and Jonas Stokke, is made entirely of wood and provides a sleek feel. Table dimensions are 180 × 90x72, but it can also be supplied in a more scalable version.
Nora is a relatively new Norwegian company specializing in producing and selling furniture with exclusive design. Among designer labels including Tore Borgerssen, Michael Olofsson, Ivar Grødal and already mentioned Austad and Stokke. Only Norwegian gutter in other words!

LampGustaf is a Swedish company founded in the late 60th century and which produces and sells a variety of products in the lighting. At the Stockholm Furniture Fair was presented Rya lamp with a minimum of said grass-like design.
