Embellish your summer with fresh new outdoor furniture

Finally it's spring! The beautiful Swedish summer is also coming and therefore it may be worthwhile to brush up on the balcony or patio with a couple of new furniture. We thought, therefore, look at some of the Nordic companies with summer furniture specialty. Scanian Harborough is one of Scandinavia's largest manufacturer of garden furniture and has some interesting creations, including furniture Miami group that is made of Teakwood. Just teak is an ideal material for furniture to be outdoors, because the wood is saturated to its own oil when it reaches an advanced age. This process leads to significantly increase the sustainability and the furniture can be left outdoors for a long time but that the material will be particularly affected.

KWA from Knäred is one of the veterans of garden furniture. In more than 60 years, they made garden furniture and they can really say this with quality and care for their furniture. Why not crack down on their garden chair Belmondo, combining materials teak, aluminum and textiline? They even have a trendy and comfortable sofa in eukalyptusträ which they have named Jessica. Perfect for a lovely midsummer festival on the terrace among friends.

The Danish company Solid Design sells cheeky Italian furniture and we looked a little closer at their Forest series. Forest is a series of outdoor furniture where you break down the boundary between art and design, but for the sake of sacrificing quality and convenience. The series consists of a armstol, a lounge chair without armrests and a dinner tables of different shapes. Forest chief ideologist behind the name is Robby and Francesca Cantarutti and they have really succeeded in creating artistic and aesthetic furniture. See, for example, for almost reminiscent of an eerie fairytale forest with its hollow design (it's no coincidence that the series is called at the Forest).

If you would rather prefer wicker furniture furniture might be something the group Alabama, with its black weather-resistant plastics, which are also UV resistant. This can be useful if there are many sunny days in summer (which we of course hope that we can use our summer furniture as much as possible!) While we're on wicker furniture should Laholm-based Mellby Garden mention, their creations in wicker man is truly a sight to behold. It may incidentally be good to know the difference between art and ordinary rattan cane. Art Rattan namely withstand the weather very well, while traditional rattan preferably should not be exposed to rain, but thrives best in the atriums that have some sort of roof or glazing.
