Romantic Weddings: Why And How

by Ron Thomson

One of the most memorable and important events in one's life is marriage. From young to old, and across the globe, when a relationship blooms into true and everlasting love, thoughts of a marriage ceremony dance through the lovers' imagination. They dream of the happiness and love that they will share with both family and friends, and happy are those who dream of their marriage ceremony.

A romantic relationship is important and also very enjoyable to any individual, and should eventually lead to a meaningful marriage relationship. Unfortunately, in today's world there are many romantic relationships which are not ending in a good romantic marriage relationship. Today relationships are too businesslike and formal, make it very difficult to find any friends, relatives or a romantic atmosphere.

In today's society, the concept of the romantic wedding is losing much of its significance. Unfortunately, one underlying cause for this is that many people take this important change in their lives too lightly, without having a real understanding of the commitment and sacrifices involved. Others come into a marriage with differing ideas about what their relationship should involve; this leads to misunderstandings which can cripple or ultimately end their marriage.

In developed countries such as the US and Canada it can be very difficult to find a romantic wedding setting. Some such countries have created statutory laws, making it beneficial to them in such ways as granting education loans, or making them independent from their parents. These laws have been exploited by the parents as well as the young couples as they do not give due importance to the wedding ceremony itself.

It is important that the couples planning to wed have their marriage ceremony as romantic as possible. After all, a person does not get married very often in his/her lifetime. So, their love for each other will be evident to their relatives and friends in romantic weddings, making them not only enjoyable events but also memorable experiences.

When two people are planning their wedding, they should make it as romantic as possible. They should consider setting this tone by finding or designing a gorgeous, relaxing and inspiring setting. Obviously inviting family and close friends are a key part of a romantic wedding, and for future memories for all, pictures and even a video should be taken.

Couples who go on a romantic honeymoon after their wedding or take private, extended vacations together enjoy a closer relationship with their spouse. It is simple things, like making time for each other, that nourish a marriage over time. Just remember that "extended" means more than a weekend getaway - and the more privacy you afford yourselves, the better. It's about creating intimacy and a bond that will last you a lifetime.

Any man to woman relationship that is founded merely on passion is short lived and may not lead to one of the really romantic relationships. The relationship must be built on true love ,mutual respect and concern paving the way to a marriage coming into the class of Romantic weddings. Marriage , at least in the oriental part of the world is even to day, considered as a life time arrangement and the task of building a happy family and living together through thick and thin.It can start with a romantic marriage ceremonywith all its glamor and true enjoyment.
